John Goulding named as Division VP of Eastern States
Today Stearns Lending announced that John Goulding has been named Divisional Vice President of Eastern States, responsible for growth in all markets on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States where licenses are held – an area spanning from Maine to Florida.
“We are excited to announce our second internal promotion to Divisional VP at Stearns Lending within a 30-day period,” said Stearns National Head of Retail Lending Tony Taveekanjana. “Under John’s exceptional leadership, Stearns Retail has become a market leader among customers and business partners. He will now be leading the charge in all Eastern states and will contribute greatly to our exponential growth plans.”
A recognized mortgage banking expert with 30 years of leadership experience, John Goulding joined Stearns in 2015, serving as Regional Vice President, responsible for development and executive management of the Company's retail mortgage lending presence in the Mid-Atlantic states.
Prior to joining Stearns, John served for 10 years as the Regional Sales Manager of the Mid-Atlantic market for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. During his 18-year tenure at Well Fargo, he also served as Area Sales Manager for Northern Virginia. John is an active member of the Metro Washington Mortgage Bankers Association and was elected to the Board of Governors for 2013, 2013 and 2014. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Alfred University.
